My weekend in photographs

After having dropped off her luggage at my flat and enjoyed a glass or two of prosecco in the sun on my balcony on Saturday, we headed for the hairdressers Olimb and Co, where Å got a great haircut and the whole massage package that I love so much. Afterwards, we headed to Hard Rock Cafe for my favourite lunch, their California burger (aka great meat, delicious guacamole and melted cheese!), before going home to finish off the processo. A couple of hours later we headed back into town to see the comedy club Latter‘s anniversary show with my friend L. Though not every act was equally funny, overall it was a great experience. Lisa Tønne, Are Kalvø and Ingrid Bjørnov were three of the highlights.

After a lie-in on Sunday, we took the bus into town to visit the Astrup Fearnley museum, but got seriously sidetracked on the way, enjoying the buzz and a mango lassi at the Mela international festival. Arriving at the museum with just an hour left until closing, we just took a photograph of the bunny character in the lobby before heading out again – enjoying a hot coffee outside admiring the Pushwagner pictures was more appealing! We ended our tour of town with mouth-wateringly delicous tacos at Taco Republica with my friend A who has just moved back to town.

All in all, it was the perfect weekend with close friends, great food and fun experiences. A great start to my life in Oslo!
