Delicate silk with a military twist

Autumn is just getting started in Oslo and dressing in layers that can be peeled off and put on as the temperature changes throughout the day is the most practical wardrobe solution. Picking up on the strong military trend for autumn, I layered a green utalitarian-looking waistcoat over a printed silk top. I like how the waistcoat and ripped jeans dress down the ladylike blouse.

On my back/in my hand is my new treasure from Whistles that was delivered earlier this week. My first shipment got lost, so I have been waiting a long, long time to take this boy for a spin!

It took me months of browsing the internet to decide on a backpack that ticked all the right boxes. This beauty from Whistles hit the jackpot: It was affordable, minimalistic, correctly sized, black and with both a top-handle and comfortable straps. I did not want to spend too much, as to me, the backpack is not a classic style that I will wear for years from now. Therefore, I bypassed the gorgeous specimens from 3.1 Phillip Lim and Alexander Wang, marked the Kånken as just too practical, and picked up this beauty. You are going to see a lot of it in the next few weeks and it is also coming to London with me later this month!
