Camel and brown // The colours of autumn

IMG_9117

This outfit started with the skirt — being on its way to the charity shop! I’ve had it for about 11 years and every year I debate whether to keep it or not. As I paired the skirt with the racy snake print tights from H&M, I realised that it deserves at least another year in my closet.

The thing about corduroy is that it’s either very in fashion and everybody’s wearing it, or it’s completely forgotten about and totally out of sight. So what is a girl to do when she loves the comfortable feeling of stretchy corduroy draped across her bum, other than to wear it against all trends, with a straight back and a proud look on her face? Who cares about trends anyway, right?..

Yes, my camel skirt is safe for another year. The same can’t be said about the other give skirts that now sit in the pile to be sold on Bloppis.
