Three tips for your home

I love receiving tips and advice that will make my life just a little bit simpler and I am sure that you feel the same way. So without further ado, here are three handy tips that have simplified or prettified my life lately:

{1} How to clean your toothbrush

I came across this handy tip just last week! If you have old tooth paste stuck in your relatively new toothbrush or electric brush head, simply run the brush through the dish washer along with your cutlery. It comes out squeaky clean! I also wash my plastic shower brush in the top shelf of the dishwasher. (Read about Elmex, my favourite toothpaste, and other French pharmacy products here).

{2} How to fold a fitted sheet

I have posted this tip in my series Happy thoughts before, but thought my newer readers also should be able to take advantage of this brilliant folding technique. Your fitted sheet goes from its usual unshapely roll into a pretty little square, all in a minute’s work. That’s three double sheets in the pile above!

{3} How to store your remote controls

I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s tired of having the remotes messing up my coffee table. The controls for Apple TV, cable, DVD/Blueray player and TV all need a home to call their own — in a pretty flower pot that adds sparkle to the table.
