Layering for autumn

Tall girl's fashion, H&M, H&M Studio, Hermes, Gabor, Michael Kors, Falke, Marc by Marc Jacobs, layering

Yesterday, the rain took a much needed break and it was a gorgeous day. I took my newish H&M Studio sweater for a spin and decided to try some layering to stay warm. I was pretty happy with how I looked as I left the flat, but it got awfully warm outside. Again. That sweater sure is cosy with its thick yarn and patent pattern…

Coincidentally, the whole outfit except accessories are from H&M. Again. Whenever this happens, I always feel a bit foolish and uncreative. I prefer outfits that are put together with items from various labels and designers, as the end result is often more dynamic and interesting. After all, I don’t want to walk around like a H&M billboard!

Have you walked out the door only to realise that (unintentionally) every garment you have on is from the same label?
