Spring trend // Fringe

Tall girl's fashion // Spring trend - Fringe

Say hallo to one of my favourite springs trends, fringing! Before strutting out the door, I secretly contemplated adding a fringe bag to top off the outfit, but luckily I managed to contain myself. Too much of a good think isn’t always great, and I think we should strive for greatness.

Though the skirt is a cheapie from H&M (and runs very small), I was inspired by DAY Birger et Mikkelsen’s boho look when I did the styling. I was attending a shopping event at their Sjølyst shop, where I drank bubbly and enjoyed canapes while watching a catwalk show of their spring collection. It was a great way to get styling inspiration and mingle with other DAY lovers.

I was in need of a black camisole to wear underneath sheer blouses, so the beauty pictured below — and a great goodie bag! — came home with me. I didn’t mean to shop, however after three glasses of champange my bank card seemed to fly out of my purse… DAY offers a range of beautiful camisoles (check out their website) and most of these run really long, so they are perfect for us tall women. Some of the great ones are even 50 % off right now, but remember that import duties are added.

As for the greatness of the event, I will share some photographs with you in Monday’s Happy Thoughts.
