The Monday Blues

Tall Girl's Fashion // The Monday Blues

I have a hard time getting up in the morning — I’m a typical night owl — but sunshine and blues skies definitely help getting me out of bed while we can still call it morning! Today is a glorious day and my plan is to be really efficient crossing things off my to do-list, so I can go for a walk outside this afternoon.

Today’s outfit is the second one Lise and I shot at Akershus Fortress in the strong gale (this was the first). I am wearing my Frame Le High Rise jeans and I just love them — they are a mile long and really soft and stretchy. Actually, they are so long that I consider rehemming them a tad shorter, which is a totally new concept for me! My jeans have always been just right or a smidgen too short, never ever too long with 4 inch heels. Also, these tall girl’s jeans fit quite large so I had to size down two sizes. It’s no surprise I love them, right?

To dress my outfit up and make the most of my long legs, I paired the jeans with a white top and blue fitted jacket, in addition to tall wedges. For those of you who have difficulties walking in high heels, try on a pair of wedges. They are very sturdy and comfortable to walk in — I stood in these wedges for almost two hours while at the United Bloggers concert last week and didn’t hurt a bit!

  • Look at those splendidly long jeans! I’m in love. You’re the second tall blogger to highlight Frame Denim and I think I will need to get a pair. I would love to be able to somehow find them in a local shop so that I can get the sizing right especially since it seems I will need to size down based on your experience. I love the print on the jacket too. Overall, a perfect outfit for a sunny day.

I agree that it’s probably better if you try them on in store, as they fit so large because of the incredible stretch. If you head for a high end boutique or department store, they are sure to carry Frame. I tried to do a search online, but my non-existent German googling skills gave me nothing… 😉 xoxo Anett
