Mum and I managed to squeeze in this shoot just before she left to go back home to Stanghelle. I sure am going to miss Nelly and her — it was terribly quiet in the flat when I got back inside and nobody came over to sniff my feet and lick my legs (Nelly does that, not mum). And without Nelly here, who’s going to be happy to see me in the morning? It sure isn’t my own reflection in the mirror… Yawn!
The weather is still gorgeous and yesterday called for a pretty lace top and denim shorts, paired with my studded sandals. Though all items are several years old, they are some of my summer favourites. I’m also trying to find myself a pair of cheap, distressed (think big holes) and over-sized denim shorts, but no luck so far. I’ve even visited the thrift store a few times to see if they had a paif of jeans I could DIY. I would greatly appreciate any tips!
Mum and I ran errands around town yesterday and had a delicious lunch at Døgnvill Burger in Tjuvholmen. They’ve got the best burgers in town, no doubt. Yum! Though she’s only used to the countryside, it turns out Nelly loves to explore the city. She wants to board every metro and bus she sees and behaves like a dream when we visit restaurants, bars and shops. Who would have guess considering the ruckus she makes whenever she’s going on a car ride?!?
