Westwood Mania
One of my favourite designers is Vivienne Westwood, for her sexy past in London’s fashion scene, her unique construction that accentuates a woman’s body and her deep dedication to causes that she cares about. It’s therefore with pride that I wear her garments and I wish I had a wardrobe full of Westwood’s designs!
In addition to a couple of dresses and a top, the Westwood skirt I’m wearing in today’s outfit is a favourite. Up until this summer this skirt has been too tight to wear, but now it fits like a glove (ordered online, I decided to keep it until it fit rather than returning it. Sometimes this strategy pays off) so I’ve got to make the most out of it in case the winter blues add a few more inches back around my waist!
I decided to make the outfit minimalist with a touch of colour, and paired the skirt with a striped blouse tied at the waist (too tight to tuck inside and I wanted to show off the skirt’s folding detail) and to stay warm, a purple cardigan.
These photographs were shot on a gorgeous autumn day and we’ve had a few of those this year. Though I prefer spring and summer, I love the pretty colours of the leaves this time of year!
