Flares & Leather

Tall Girl's Fashion // Styling flared jeans

I’ve already worn these flared jeans in a 1970s outfit on the blog, styled for summer in a peasant blouse and a psychedelic print handbag, but who’s to say that I can’t do yet another outfit inspired by my childhood years?!?

Today I kept my look more casual by matching the flares with a striped top, brown leather blazer and zebra print handbag. Though I find myself in skirts on most days at the moment, sometimes my fashion brain needs a rest and I reach for a pair of jeans. I love the softness and button detail of these Zara flares, so they’re at the top of my pile.

I topped off the outfit with a big scarf — it’s late autumn and I’m all about being warm and stylish at the same time. I still see people flashing their bare ankles and I don’t understand how they can to it. Hand me my thickest tights, please! And my gloves and scarf, while you’re at it.

I’d love to know how you like to style your flared jeans. Do you have a favourite outfit that you keep coming back to? Please drop me a comment below.
