Today I thought I’d show you another way to wear a fur waistcoat. In Friday’s post I wore the fur on top of a biker jacket to add extra warmth and a hint of luxury to a sporty outfit. Today I wear the fur as my indoor outfit and just added a wool coat when I headed out.
Even though I bought this fur waistcoat on sale it was still quite pricey, but I’m happy to see that I reach for it once or twice every week, if not to build an outfit that is blogworthy, then at least to stay warm whilst hanging out in my flat. Who needs a pet when they’ve got such a warm and cuddly piece of clothing to hug? Still, I do feel guilty about the animals that had to give up their lives for me — I hope they had a good life and that their meat became someone’s dinner…
This outfit was actually my travel outfit on the train back from Bergen to Oslo last night. The leather leggings are stretchy and soft, the fur waistcoat cuddly and warm. I just added thick wool socks and a wool scarf as a blanket, inflated my travel pillow, put on my headphones and drifted off to sleep. When I woke up I was back in Oslo, ready for a new day to begin!
Until Wednesday, my dear!
