Mod Pattern Mix
For a Sunday spent editing photos and drafting posts, I wore this mod-inspired oufit. I don’t wear much green, but with spring just around the corner (or maybe it’s months away and I’m just guilty of wishful thinking) I felt like wearing a fun and spring-y outfit.
Stripes are a pattern that can be mixed with most other prints, as they bring a certain calm and order to the table. My tweed skirt has a geometric cube-like pattern, so mixing the two prints together are basically a full geometry lesson and thus a match made in heaven! While the top picks up the green and navy in the skirt, I chose grey tights to calm the outfit down a bit.
If you are ever in doubt as to which necklace to wear, wear them both, I’ll say. The trends are all about layering your necklaces right now and these chunky ones won’t end up in a tangled mess like the delicate necklaces do.
Happy Monday!
