While the sun is shining from a vast blue sky, it’s appropriate to match some white lace with pink tweed. Girly, pale colours that bring your thoughts to warm spring days, sweet coloured tulips and bubbly wine enjoyed on the balcony. I love spring!
My favourite souvenirs are the kind that can be worn — clothes, jewellery and skincare. I bought this jacket at a vintage store in Antibes, France, and though I ignore the fact that it tries to be Chanel but isn’t, I love the colour , the frayed edges (all the rage right now, especially on your jeans) and the soft fabric.
On my bottom half are my much loved Frame Denim Le High Flare jeans, taken up about 5 cm/2 inches and can still be worn with heels. Yes, those babies come looooong and are made of a really soft and stretchy denim. Try to grab a pair in the spring sales which are starting right now.
Denim, lace and tweed are a classic combination that can be worn every day as well as in a less conservative office environment. If you change the colour scheme to black and white, or a bright jewel colour like emerald green and black, you have a completely different look, appropriate for work and a party respectively. My last two tips are to not choose the most revealing lace top and wear a camisole underneath.
In addition to the spring sales that are currently in action, Oslo also is the host of a wide range of sample sales in the next couple of weeks. In the market for Hale Bob at 70 % off? Check out my blog on M0nday, when I’ll have the dates ready for you. You might want to curb your spending this weekend, I’m just saying…
Happy weekend! I’m going flat hunting, so make sure you follow me on Instagram.
